About Cedrus Fund
Working with experienced entrepreneurs, operators, and investors, Cedrus Fund aims to provide a tailored succession plan to a business owner. We are an entrepreneur-led fund seeking to buy a single private small-to-medium sized business and run it for the long term. We are looking for a business with $5-50+ million of revenue, a proven history of profitability, and an owner who is ready to transition from the business on their own terms with the knowledge that their legacy is in good hands.
We are fortunate to have patient and flexible partners that allow an atypically long investment horizon while also unlocking access to a powerful network. We have a high priority focus on the "people" and "relationship" aspect of business. Our approach is hands-on, from acquisition into long-term operation, with full dedication to that single business.
About Adnan
Adnan is the Founder and Managing Director of Cedrus Fund, based in Boston, MA.
He was an active operator across industries throughout his career. Adnan started at Sanofi, a global healthcare & pharma company based in Europe. He then moved to Dubai to join the global firm, Bain & Company. His work there focused on helping his clients grow and expand into new products and geographies.
Driven by an entrepreneurial itch, Adnan decided to jump into the entrepreneurial world and join the leadership team at Fetchr, a technology and logistics startup. At Fetchr, he helped grow the company from 100 to 3,000+ employees in 3 years and launch operations across multiple countries in the Middle East.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and economics from the American University of Beirut.
Adnan’s family worked for generations in small businesses across sectors. He hopes to be part of a similar environment to give back to the community through his daily work.
Adnan recently got married to his wife Dania, they’re both big basketball and soccer fans, and can never say no to some delicious Lebanese food!
